App Name: Dosome
Also Known As: Dosum
Welcome to Dosome. This Legal & Privacy page explains how the Dosome app works, what information may be collected, how that information is used, and the basic terms that apply when using the app.
For clarity, “Dosome,” “Dosum,” “the app,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the same mobile application, service, and related experience. “Dosum” may appear in earlier materials, development references, URLs, screenshots, app builds, documentation, or communications. “Dosome” is the current public-facing name of the app unless otherwise stated.
1. Purpose of the App
Dosome is designed to help people discover, save, and organize things to do, including outings, activities, events, recipes, and related ideas. The app may include location-based features, saved items, user-created lists, map-based discovery, or other tools intended to help users get out, explore, and plan experiences.
The app is provided as a practical planning and discovery tool. It is not a professional advisory service, emergency service, transportation service, medical service, legal service, or guarantee of availability, safety, quality, or suitability of any activity, place, event, recipe, or recommendation.
2. Information We May Collect
Depending on how the app is used and which features are enabled, Dosome may collect or process the following types of information:
- Account information, such as an email address or sign-in identifier, if account login is offered or required.
- Saved content, such as saved outings, recipes, activities, events, lists, preferences, or app interactions.
- Location information, if location-based discovery, maps, nearby activities, or similar features are enabled.
- Device and app information, such as app version, device type, operating system, crash reports, diagnostics, and basic usage information.
- User-submitted content, if users are allowed to create, submit, save, share, or suggest activities, recipes, events, comments, notes, or other content.
- Payment-related information, if paid features, purchases, subscriptions, tips, or other transactions are introduced. Payment processing may be handled by app stores or third-party payment providers, and we generally do not receive full payment card information.
We only intend to collect information that is reasonably related to operating, improving, securing, and supporting the app.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide and operate app features.
- Save user preferences, activities, recipes, outings, or other app content.
- Show location-relevant or interest-relevant content, when applicable.
- Improve app performance, usability, safety, and reliability.
- Diagnose crashes, bugs, and technical issues.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, spam, or misuse.
- Communicate with users about support, updates, policy changes, or app-related matters.
- Comply with legal, security, or platform requirements.
4. Location-Based Features
Dosome may use location information to help users find nearby activities, events, places, recipes, outings, or map-based content.
Location access may be approximate or precise depending on the device setting, platform permission, and app feature. Users can usually disable or adjust location access through their device settings.
If location features are disabled, some parts of the app may not work as intended.
5. User Content
If the app allows users to submit, save, suggest, upload, comment on, or share content, users are responsible for the content they provide.
Users should not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, misleading, abusive, invasive of privacy, sexually explicit, hateful, threatening, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.
We may review, remove, restrict, or decline content if we believe it violates these terms, creates risk, or harms the app experience.
6. Public and Third-Party Information
Dosome may include information from public sources, third-party services, user submissions, maps, event listings, venues, websites, or other providers.
We do not guarantee that third-party or public information is complete, current, accurate, safe, available, or appropriate. Event times, business hours, locations, prices, menus, access rules, and other details may change. Users should verify important details before relying on them.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell users’ personal information.
We may share information only in limited circumstances, such as:
- With service providers that help operate the app, hosting, analytics, authentication, crash reporting, maps, payments, or support.
- When required by law, legal process, safety concerns, or platform rules.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, the app, or our services.
- In connection with a business transfer, merger, acquisition, restructuring, or similar event.
- With user consent or at the user’s direction.
8. Third-Party Services
The app may use third-party services, such as app stores, hosting providers, analytics tools, authentication providers, crash reporting tools, map providers, payment processors, or other infrastructure services.
Those third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage users to review the policies of any third-party services connected to their use of the app.
9. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain records, improve functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, and protect the app.
Users may request deletion of certain information by contacting us, subject to technical, legal, security, or operational limitations.
10. Children’s Privacy
Dosome is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
11. Safety and Assumption of Risk
Dosome may suggest or help users discover activities, places, events, outings, routes, recipes, or experiences. Users are responsible for their own judgment, safety, transportation, health, permissions, and compliance with applicable rules and laws.
Outdoor, public, social, food-related, travel-related, or location-based activities may involve risk. Users should verify conditions, accessibility, weather, hours, rules, ingredients, allergens, costs, and safety concerns before participating.
Dosome does not guarantee that any activity, recipe, place, event, route, or recommendation is safe, suitable, available, accurate, or appropriate for every user.
12. Food, Recipes, and Allergens
If Dosome includes recipes or food-related content, that information is provided for general convenience only.
Users are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, dietary restrictions, food safety, preparation methods, and suitability for themselves or others. Dosome does not provide medical, nutritional, allergy, or dietary advice.
13. Purchases, Subscriptions, or Paid Features
If Dosome offers paid features, purchases, subscriptions, tips, or other transactions, pricing and billing terms will be shown before purchase.
Transactions made through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or another platform may be subject to that platform’s payment, refund, cancellation, and subscription rules.
14. Intellectual Property
The Dosome app, including its design, branding, features, text, graphics, software, icons, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors, except for third-party content or user-submitted content.
Users may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, sell, or exploit the app or its content except as permitted by law or with written permission.
The names “Dosome” and “Dosum” may both refer to the same app, service, brand, project, or related materials.

16. No Warranties
Dosome is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not make warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, secure, available, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, property damage, missed events, unavailable activities, inaccurate information, or decisions made based on the app.
